Open Season: Lobster Fest Week at Akasha (July 1–12)
Every July, the town of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye bursts into celebration with the highly anticipated San Pedro Lobster Festival — a vibrant culinary and cultural event that marks the official opening of lobster season in Belize. Visitors from around the world flock to this coastal haven to experience everything from live music and beach parties to, of course, the freshest lobster dishes imaginable.
At Akasha, we celebrate this iconic season with our own twist: Lobster Fest Week, running from July 1 to July 12, 2025. For twelve days, we’ll be serving a special lobster-inspired menu crafted by our culinary team, led by Chef Carlos Serrano, highlighting the best of the Caribbean Sea through inventive, flavorful, and unforgettable dishes.
