Industry Event at Akasha: Celebrating San Pedro’s Hospitality Community

On Sunday, October 11, from 11am to 5pm, Akasha brings that community together for the Industry Event, an afternoon centered around good food, connection, and the opportunity to experience the restaurant’s new menu.

A New Menu for a New Season

The Industry Event arrives just after the launch of Akasha’s new culinary chapter.

The new menu is rooted in Belize, inspired by the Caribbean Sea, and reimagined through a contemporary culinary lens, bringing together local ingredients and modern techniques.

Guests can discover new dishes such as Akasha Shrimp Ceviche, with green mango, cucumber, citrus, and Caribbean chile, or explore the Seared Tuna & Cacao Mole, which brings local cacao into a contemporary seafood dish.

The Grilled Octopus, served with sweet potato purée and cilantro-lime chimichurri, is another example of the new menu’s approach to familiar ingredients and fresh combinations.

And for those who always save room for dessert, Isla Bonita combines date cake, vanilla ice cream, cardamom crumble, toasted coconut, and caramel sauce.

More Than an Afternoon Out
